Be sure to visit Historic Hyde Park during the Hyde Park Street Fair and support our great local businesses!

The Hyde Park Street Fair has been a part of Boise’s North End for decades! Planning for the first event started in 1979 – a glimmer in the eyes of some old Hyde Park neighbors that wanted a way to bring North End neighbors together and show off local art, crafts and music.

Camel’s Back Park has since seen many families enjoy one of the last weekends of summer outdoors.

Giraffe Laugh

Giraffe Laugh Children’s Area raises money for scholarships for children of all incomes, including homeless children.

Started in Hyde Park in the North End, Giraffe Laugh now operates 4 locations and serves 200 children per day, formula and 3 meals a day to help get rid of hunger as a barrier to good health and development. Children that cannot afford after school activities, or even food benefit from Giraffe Laughs, scholarships, on site food pantries and extra-curricular activities assistance. The schools also employ bi-lingual teachers to assist with any language barriers.

Giraffe Laugh helps 55 children per year with their scholarships, 10% of these children, homeless. Children’s Area in Hyde Park helps raise money for these scholarships, so join in the endeavor to help the community’s children!
